China Touring Car Championship is the top motorsports’ brand in China, and was classified as the A level event in annual national sports competition plan by the General Administration of Sport of China.

CTCC was acknowledged and supported as the national touring car championship by FédérationInternationale de l‘Automobile (hereinafter referred to ‘FIA’).

China Circuit Championship (Formerly CTCC) was established in 2004. CCC succeeded to introduce this worldwide sweeping motorsports into china, and created strongly influence.

Shanghai LiSheng Sports Co. Ltd became the new promoter for this event in January 2009, and China Circuit Championship was renamed as China Touring Car Championship.
CTCC constantly devotes to improve the quality of domestic race events and promote the culture of china motorsports. Meanwhile, CTCC has been launching a series of innovation on China motorsports in different spheres since 2009.
 Complying with international trend, CTCC introduced a turbocharge group into the event in 2011. CTCC implements the mission of energy-saving and emission-reduction.

World Touring Car Championship, being the top three events recognized by FIA, staged in China and hosted with CTCC together, which was considered as a great contribution to exchange motorsports’ culture made by CTCC.

CTCC has a lot of race stars, like Hanhan, Wangrui, zhenzhuowei and etc. They are the eternal focuses among media and fans inside of outside of the circuit.In addition, there's Ma Qinghua of CTCC is first entered F1 Grand Prix and the World Touring Car Championship WTCC Chinese.
