China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) race 6 traveled to the Beijing Olympic Aquatic Park on October 10th, 2010 and successfully concluded with the great honer of having IOC Vice-President Mr. Yu Zai Qing, Chinese General Administration of sports Motorsport Director Mr. Yan Jian Chang and Vice Secretary of Shunyi District Beijing, Mr. Wang Gang, etc.
1600cc: Back to back wins for Beijing Hyundai racing team
17 cars in total got ready to fight for the trophies of the first ever CTCC street race, featuring rolling start. Pei Liang from RSR team crashed and retired at lap 15.
As the red lights went off, pole-sitter Liu Yang managed to maintain lead, with Han Han, Sun Zheng, Cui Yue and Ma Qing Hua following closely behind. Sun Zheng, the young driver from DF-Nissan Ghia racing team, tried several time to overtake Han Han during the race and the fight ended with Han Han managing to finish the race 2nd on the podium. Liu won the race with clear advantage and Ma Qing hua took 3rd. Sun Zheng finished 6th.
Another remarkable win for Martin Cao
The race rolling started at 13:30 on Sunday and all cars enjoyed a safe beginning. Martin Cao and Micheal Ho, 2 drvers set off from the front row, started close fight from the very beginning and Cao surviving from the crucial fight at lap 9 made us went [gulps]. The result became clear after a small contact between Cao and Ho at lap 13 and Cao won the race.It seemed that Martin Cao, the teenage racer from Changan Ford racing team, proved his potencial of becoming another great driver to all. Ho settled for 2nd while Lo Ka Chun from DF-KIA 778 Racing team captured 3rd.
Rainey He yet again ran into problems, failed to finish the race. Wang Shao Feng didn’t do the qualify session yesterday due to technical problems and started from the end of the fleet on Sunday, finishing 7th.

Other than the firce fight on track, the CTCC weekend featured also a rather hot commercial area, with hot actions from the manufactors, model shows, YOKOHAMA tyre, Red Bull etc.
