Rainey He has claimed pole position in the CTCC Super Production race for the Chang'an Ford FRD Team at the Shanghai Tianma Circuit. Kenneth Look of G Racing in a Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T and Guo Hua Yang of Shanghai VW 333 Racing qualified second and third.

Rainey He set his best lap of 1:07.114 during the first qualifying session, while Han Han of Shanghai333 Racing, who tried all his best to grap pole at his home circuit, qualified fourth with a time of 1:07.237.

Kenneth Look was the fastest driver in the second qualifying session, setting his best lap of 1:07.160. Guo Hua Yang of Shanghai 333 Racing and Ziang Zhi Qiang of G Racing set their best laps of 1:07.207 and 1:07.483 also in this session, and were ranked second and third of the runners.

Rainey He gained his fourth pole position after the end of the two qualifying sessions. Kenneth Look's time placed him second, the highest place for the new G Racing team to date, whilst Guo Hua Yang outpaced his team-mate Han Han to qualify third.

The Super Production race of the CTCC will be held around 13:22 local time on Sunday 14th October.
