The 7th event of China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) was concluded at Shanghai International Circuit (SIC). Liu Yang (Beijing Hyundai) and Tengyi Jiang (Changan Ford) were the winners of their own class. As for the hot Lady Voo featured Dan Na from Volkswagen Shanghai the queen of the weekend.

Third win for Liu Yang

The 1.6 Liter race was started under wet condition. With teammate Cui Yue’s support, pole sitter Liu Yang claimed his lead from the very beginning & managed to finish 1st. Cui was 2nd. Hai Ma racing team’s Chen Xu was 3rd, setting his best results in CTCC.

After race 7, Liu is leading the table with 4 points advantage. As for the manufacture cup, Beijing Hyundai racing team enjoyed a big old 18 points to the pool and looking very likely to take the 1.6 title.

Han Han, from SH-VW 333 racing team, started off 11th and finished 5th. With 36 points in his hands, Han still have a shot for the driver title.

A team win for Changan Ford

Race 7 of 2000cc class was started in the rain. Pole-sitter Jiang (Changan Ford racing team) successfully overcame the pressure from Lo Ka Chun (DF-KIA 778) and won the race. After race 7, Jiang and Martin Cao, 2 drivers from Changan Ford, are now staying tie on lead each with 41 points.

That left the season finale the competition for the driver title.

Lady Voo: Dan Na outshined

Lady Voo was indeed a highlight of the commercial area. Dan Na, a beautiful girl sent by Shanghai VW 333 racing team, outshined this weekend and took the crown.

Manufactures like Changan Ford, Shanghai VW etc held fan meeting at the commercial area, while Red Bull, Yokohama and other parties brought splendid activities to the weekend!
