Magneti Marelli, is an international Group committed to the design and production of hi-tech systems and components for the automotive sector. CTCC ( China Touring Car Championship ), is a national championship approved by the State Bureau of Sports, the FIA, and the FASC, have made a wide-ranging technology alliance.

Magneti Marelli motorsport department designs and produces electronic and electro-mechanical systems for two and four wheels racing vehicles. In particular, it supplies hi-tech systems for engine control and data acquisition (ECUs, injectors, sensors etc.), telemetry systems, electro-hydraulic systems for gear box automation and control. It also provides displays, dashboards, alternators, voltage regulators, ignition coils, pressure regulators, fuel pumps and software applications. Since 2008 Magneti Marelli i s also working in the area of research and production of kinetic energy recovery systems (KERS) for Formula 1 , MotoGP, SBK and the WRC . The cooperation with CTCC could presage Magneti Marelli expected to better development in china market.

CTCC is also the representative of the China motor sports and introduce the word motor sports concept into China.

It is an event holding the international influence, held 8 events in 2012, which will be located in international standard circuits as Shanghai, Gongdong(Zhuhai&zhaoqing), Sishuan(Chengdu), Inner Mongolia(Ordos). More than10 racing team and the best drivers join in the championship. It includes Shanghai Volkswagen, Changan Ford, Beijing Hyundai , GAC Toyota, Dongfeng Yueda Kia, Haima Cars, DAC Honda and other well-known automobile manufactures. The Magneti Marelli joined will also add technology advantage of CTCC, and promote the China motor sports attain international standards.
