Rainey He has claimed pole position for the Super Production race for the fourth round of the China Touring Car Championship. Rainey's team-mates at the Chang'an Ford FRD Team, Andy Yan and Jiang Tengyi, qualified in second and third.

Han Han and Wang Rue of Shanghai VW 333 Racing, the sole representatives for the team this weekend after an accident for the team's transporter damaged the other two cars were the closest to the Ford trio and qualified in fourth and fifth spots.

The Chevrolet Cruzes of G Racing and ASR da Marco were also strong in qualifying. Kenneth Look, Zhang Zhi Qiang and Zhang Sheng Jun will start in sixth, seventh and eighth for tomorrow's race, ahead of Chang'an Ford FRD Team's Fan Gao Xian.
