Changan Ford Racing Team has confirmed three of its 2013 season drivers for the 2014 CTCC campaign. This includes the team leader Rainey He, the 2011 and 2013, champion, Andy Yan and the promising Martin Xie.
Rainey He has been a core member of the team since 2007 leading the team moving forward and building strong connection among teammates. He always plays an indispensable role in inspiring team spirit and reinforcing the teamwork. “I am anticipating there will be some changes to the driver line up this year but I believe the will to defend the title is never going to change.Let’s make a great effort for 2014 and try to win championship 7.” said Rainey He.
Andy Yan, who has gained more and more media attention over the year, won 3 consecutive races in 2013 season and won the Driver’s Championship for the second time in Super Production Class, will join the team again. He expressed, “Since joining the team back in 2009, I have been trying to improve my performance together with the whole team. Our goal is to win the 7th championship this year! Understand that the opposition will try anything in the book to slow us down but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going!”
Martin Xie is a graduate of the Ford Young Driver Program and since joining the team in 2013, he had scored a lot of success. “For me, it will be a new start. Except for the wish of assisting the team to win another championship in 2014, I want to get further promotion for my personal rank and I wish I can be in the top three.” added Martin Xie.
The confirmed drivers are under the continually strenuous training, while the fourth driver will be announced soon. With the momentum, it is believed that in 2014 racing season, the Changan Ford Racing Team will continually to dominate the CTCC.
