Round 7 of SINOPEC LUBRICANTS CTCC 2015 season ended on 25th October at Jiangsu Yancheng Street Circuit.

Beijing Hyundai driver Chao SUN gathered his first China Production group win in 2015, followed by GAC Toyota YARiS L Team’s Yu XIA and Hu Ping CHEN. BAIC Senova’s Ruo Han HUANG scored race 2 win，Beijing Hyundai’ Han Biao ZHANG Second，GAC Toyota YARiS L Team’s Yu XIA Third. After Super Production group, Hong Li YE got his second win in a string, Dongfeng Honda’s Henry HO and Xin Zhe XIE Second and Third respectively. Team work racing’s Alex HUI and Sunny WONG placed First and Third in Super 2.0T group, with SVW 333’s Teng Yi JIANG in the middle of them.

China Production Group: fight will be stretched into last round

Depending on brilliant drive from Chao SUN and Han Biao ZHANG, Beijing Hyundai Racing became the biggest winner of round 7. After the fantastic race, they jumped into lead of China Production group’s manufacture standing.

GAC Toyota YARiS L Team got a good result, Yu XIA and Hu Ping CHEN both managed to stand on podium. And XIA climbed up to the top place of driver championship standing. BAIC Senova team suffered another disappointed weekend, but Ruo Han HUANG still managed to score the race 2 win. The form of three-way-fight will be stretched into last round of the season.

Super Production Group: power of teamwork shines

As soon as the race started, Hong li YE got away by a perfect start. After that, he lead the race from lap 4 on and didn’t give any chance to the others. Dongfeng Honda’s Xin Zhe XIE, who launched from pole position tried to get the lead back, but it didn’t work. At the last moment, he gave the place to teammate Henry HO, ensured to keep HO’s title hope.

Out of the top 3, the drivers from Chang’an Ford and Dongfeng Yueda KIA fought very hard, overtake and come-from-behind took place in every laps. Finally, Zhi Qiang ZHANG and Andy YAN finished fourth and fifth respectively, both available to fight for annual champion.

Super 2.0T Group: Audi and Mercedes appeared

Altough Teamwork racing adopted the specification of 2016 season, they can score points from this round. Alex HUI and Sunny WONG crossed the line with First and Third place. But SVW 333 driver Teng Yi JIANG overcome Teamwork Racing’s control and bounded back to Second place in the late laps. An Audi and a Mercedes-Benz joined super 2.0T group during this round, and more manufactures and teams are likely to join this group in next year.

The well known websites, such as Tencent, LETV, PPTV, iQIYI all boardcasted the Seventh round CTCC in Yancheng. CTCC also raised a huge number of containing money as a gift, which will be provide on the official WeChat platform of CTCC. This method earned more than 5000 fans of CTCC official account. And there will be more containing money in the next round of CTCC.

The Eighth round of 2015 CTCC will move to Beijing on 5-7th, November.
