The Chang'an Ford FRD Team won the third round of the CTCC at the Chengdu International Circuit this weekend with the efforts of Jiang Tengyi, with Jiang's team-mate Andy Yan finishing second and Han Han from Shanghai VW 333 Racing in third.

The race started behind the safety car, which led the first two laps due to the very wet and slippery conditions at the circuit. Jiang Tengyi, Andy Yan and Rainey He of Chang'an Ford FRD Team led the way at the start. Their teammate, Fan Guo Xian tried to overtake Han Han for fourth, but was under threat at the same time of G Racing's Kenneth Look and Ziang Zhi Qiang in their Chevrolet Cruzes.

Fan overtook Han on lap 10, but was repassed by Han just a few corners afterwards.

Han Han overtook Rainey He on lap 15, who was suffering from a mechanical problem, and went on to finish third securing the final spot on the podium. Jiang Tengyi and Andy Yan led the race comfortably and took first and second.

The fourth round of CTCC will be held on July 8th at the Ordos International Circuit.
