Delta Racing Team's 2025 season journey review

The 2025 season of the CTCC China Automobile Track Professional League came to a wonderful end. Shanghai's local powerhouse Delta Racing Team brought the Audi RS 3 LMS TCR and GAC Trumpchi Shadow Leopard, two main models, to attack the TCR China Challenge and CTCC China Cup on two lines.

Sprint with strength, and win the first game steadily

The season kicked off at the Shanghai International Circuit. As a local team in Shanghai, Delta Racing Team went all out in the two-leg race to compete for good results. Fang Junyan of car No. 33 stunned the audience in the first race with the GAC Trumpchi Shadow Leopard, winning the third place in the TC1 category in the first round and fourth in the second round. In the TCR China Challenge, No. 99 driver Liu Chao showed solid strength and successfully brought back points in the first round.

Moving to Ningbo, Zhejiang, the competition in the arena became more and more fierce. In the two rounds of "55 minutes + 1 lap" high-intensity competition, Fang Junyan won the third place in the TC1 group for two consecutive rounds with accurate routing and decisive overtaking. Liu Chao also achieved a breakthrough, finishing in fourth and seventh place respectively.

Adversity breaks the game and welcomes the highlight of the season

The third stop, Shaoxing Keqiao Station, was tested by extreme weather, and the alternation of scorching heat and heavy rain became the biggest variable in the audience. Fang Junyan stabilized his rhythm in the sudden weather and finished fourth in the TC1 class in the first round. In the second leg of the main race, Fang Junyan braved the physical extreme pressure brought about by the scorching sun and won the fourth place again, interpreting the spirit of racing with tenacity.

At Ordos Station, Liu Chao from Inner Mongolia ushered in a home battle. He fought bravely in the second round of the TCR China Challenge, and finally won the third place and achieved his home stage.

The fifth stop of the season returned to Shanghai Jiading, and the Delta Racing Team regained its strong competitiveness. Liu Chao continued his hot form, breaking out in the fierce struggle in the first leg, winning the third place in the TCR China Challenge again, and finishing steadily in fourth place in the second round.

In the CTCC China Cup, Fang Junyan and Zhang Jiaqi fought side by side, and the two cooperated tacitly and attacked fiercely, and finally finished in fourth and fifth place respectively, scoring valuable points for the team.

The double line ended, and the future started a new journey

Throughout the 2025 season, Delta Racing Team has achieved remarkable results on both fronts. In the TCR China Challenge, Liu Chao stood on the podium twice, winning the seventh place in the Annual Drivers' Cup with stable points performance, and the team won the sixth place in the Annual Constructors' Cup; In the CTCC China Cup, the No. 33 team also won three podiums with the joint efforts of Fang Junyan and Zhang Jiaqi, ranking fifth in the TC1 category of the year, and the team won the fourth place of the year.

The Delta Racing Team has used every competition to interpret the love of speed and dedication to victory, creating the glory of this season.
