The sixth round of the 2012 China Touring Car Championship will be held in on the 16th September at the Guangdong International Circuit.

Since the Changan Ford Racing Team has never used a turbocharged engine on this track, the team did a three day test late August to establish a reference line for the cars.

Changan Ford Racing Team is currently testing with the 1.6L Ecoboost New Ford Focus to prepare for the CTCC R6 (September 15-16) in Guangdong International Circuit (GIC). After enjoying a great 1-2 win in the third round of the 2012 China Touring Car Championship season in Chengdu two weekends ago, this weekend sees Changan Ford Racing Team making its way to Inner Mongolia for the first time this year to compete in the Race of Ordos. Changan Ford Racing Team currently is leading the Manufacturer Championship by 26 points and Tengyi Jiang has 32 points on top of the Driver Championship points table.
